Eisley's Stats and Emmett's Jumps!

We began the day at the doctor's office - well actually, the day began much earlier since Eisley hasn't been sleeping well. But it was at her "well baby" visit (even though she's not well at all) that we discovered why she hasn't been sleeping well. The good old double ear infection is what has been to blame. Thank goodness for antibiotics and I'll also do olive oil mixed with tea tree oil drops.

And for all my faithful followers (ie my mom and my mother in law) - here are Eisley's 6 month stats:
14 lbs 8 oz - 25%
27 inches - 90%
16.25 inch head - 25%

Emmett learned a new skill today and I am so proud of him! He learned to jump on the trampoline. We spent the morning and early afternoon (hope we didn't wear out our welcome) at the McKinney's house. Emmett was terrified of the trampoline at first, but after a few "Emmett, you're doing such a good job. I'm so proud of you. Wow, look at you!" words of encouragement from mom, his grimace turned to a gigantic smile. It was the sweetest thing. I was amazed at how quickly he shed his fear and was touched that all it took were a few words of encouragement from his biggest fan (me!).

Here are some pictures from today:

Eisley was not loving this situation...
