One of my good friends, Jennifer, and her son returned home today from a trip to Boston. Her son had very risky heart surgery and beat the odds; the surgery was successful! It's an absolute miracle and I know I am still in shock. I am grateful for the talented and innovative team of surgeons, but ultimately the praise goes to our Heavenly Father.
Emmett and I worked on some welcome home signs and then headed over to their house to decorate and prepare for their homecoming.
