"Where are you going?"

After my nanny kids left I immediately hopped in the shower. After a day of leaving the AC off I was feeling totally gross and sweaty - and in much need of a shower. I came out of the bathroom fully dressed (in sweats and a t-shirt) and my darling son said to me,
"Mommy, you done in the shower?"
"Yes I am."
"Where are you going"
"Sweetie, I'm not going anywhere, I just wanted to shower."
"Oh"

So, I'm thinking I should maybe shower more often if my son thinks that the only time I shower is when I need to go somewhere!

My pictures of the day coming later.

That is too cute!! :) I love it. Kids say some of the most precious things, don't they?

Oh this is so true in our home also. I think Asher has asked me the same questions more times than I can count. He seems to know that if I shower there is a strong chance we are headed somewhere. What a testimony.

I'm pretty sure Camille is going to grow up thinking the very same thing. It's a good thing I nanny at someone else's house, though, otherwise I'm sure I'd go un-showered MUCH longer than is socially acceptable!
