Beautiful Sight

Just got home from a MOPS leadership meeting. I stayed and chatted WAY too long, but had wonderful conversation. Anyway, I came home to the most beautiful sight. My husband and my son asleep in our bed. It was the sweetest thing I've ever seen. I didn't have the heart to disturb such a heart warming experience, so I grabbed a pillow and am bunked on the couch for the night.

I am curious to hear the story. Emmett's door was wide open (usually closed at night) with his fan and light still on and our bedroom door was cracked open (again, usually closed). My hypothesis is that Eric fell asleep before Emmett (pretty typical, but usually I'm up to do damage control). Then Emmett, having a hard time going to sleep crawled into bed with Daddy. ADORABLE!

Did I mention that my son was glowing from the light of our new, gifted to us, video monitor? I can't wait to really put it to use! I look forward to more beautiful sights as I lay awake future nights, gazing at my sleeping babes as if through night goggles, then cast onto a small TV screen!
