The kids LOVE the tire swing at my parents' house. It is the most beautiful site. The smiles, the laughter, the giggles. My dad peeks through the middle of the tire and just says a one word phrase to them - often in a different language. They laugh hysterically and ask for more.
Another thing they love doing is helping in the garden. The beauty, is that to a child, "helping" others is what is fun! No special games, toys or antics. Just including them in what we're doing is all it takes to bring a smile and to keep them entertained. Aren't children wonderful? We certainly have alot to learn from them.
