We started the advent calendar today. The kids loved it!
We sat at the outdoor picnic table that I assembled inside but didn't want to bring outside because the kids are loving it so much!
Inside each door is a little numbered box and a little gift (usually candy).
We open the box and read the paper which then directs us to a Bible verse.
It's so fun to be doing traditions with the kids and they are finally old enough to really enjoy it and look forward to it!

My kids are loving the advent calendar too and counting down the days till gramma and papa get here... I should really do a bible verse a day though too that would be a great way to do it!
Where did you get this advent calendar? I love it!!!!!
I really like the Bible verse idea. Were the references included or did you put that together yourself?
