Tonight Eric and I decided to take the kids to the Lake Phalen Christmas light display. (Side note: if you buy the CD at Target for $9.99 then you can get in free, otherwise the cost is $10. Just my personal opinion, it's not worth it. It was a long line to get in, even on a Sunday night. All the light exhibits were pretty much the same thing. There's a picture below)
We picked up McDonalds to eat in the car (yes, we just ate McDonalds in the car while looking at lights a few days ago)
We waited in line at least 30 minutes (enjoyed singing Christmas carols in various voices and the biggest hit was our adaptation of the Itsy Bitsy Spider into Itsy Bitsy Santa) and then drove through the 10 minute exhibit.
And then topped the night off with a Frosty. There's nothing like a Frosty to make you feel all warm and cozy on a cold Christmas night!
