The highlight of the day for me was the homemade waffles with homemade whipped cream and blueberries. Yummy!! or "nummy" as my kids say for some reason. I think maybe they got this from Grandma - Cyndi, do you say this? In either case, I love that Eisley licked the spoon clean for me. I have such fond memories of "helping" out my mom like this, it's fun that Eisley is now "helping me."
My mom gave us these styrofoam balls to use for a craft. I couldn't think of anything to do with them and Emmett kept asking to make a craft. So finally we just colored them. I know, boring right? I thought so, but of course the kids loved it. We even got out stickers. So they each decorated their own ball. It was quite a hit.
