Oil Pastels

I heard this fabulous speaker at MOPS who was an art teacher before coming a full-time mom. She gave all sorts of fun art related activities to do with the kids. One of these was Oil Pastels. I used my 40% off coupon at Michaels and bought these oil pastels. Only $5 though, so with or without coupon it's not a pricey investment.

Anyway, the kids have fun experimenting with these. As our speaker encouraged, "It's about the process not the finished product!"

Ender's 6 month Bday!

For Ender's 6 month birthday we celebrated by taking him and his best friend (Morgan, who is 1 day younger) to Dickey's for BBQ :)

We spent the evening celebrating a very darling boy's first birthday. It was an awesome party complete with ice skating! Emmett's first time, and my first time in about 10+ years.

Sky Zone Trampoline Park! What a fun place!

They have a special toddler time which is perfect for so many reasons.

It's only $8 for the whole family.

There are only little people (and their parents) jumping so it feels quite safe.

I would definitely recommend it and hope to go back soon.

It felt very professional, very safe and the employees were very attentive and considerate.

The kids jumped and jumped and jumped!
